First of all, thanks for stopping by my website! Let me introduce myself as Timothy Webb, the owner of Timothy Knives. In the summer of 2006 I was presented with the opportunity to pursue my life-long dream of living in the Northwest. My day job relocated me to rural Eastern Oregon from Talladega, Alabama. I feel at home here in Oregon and enjoy the many hunting opportunities that are practically in my own backyard! I like Eastern Oregon so much that I decided to start my own business in 2007 and start making knives full-time.
Growing up in Eastern Alabama, the outdoors were a big part of my life. I learned many things about the outdoors from my Grandad Webb, who taught me everything I know about fishing. My cousin David Hosey was especially influential on my love for the outdoors. He gave me my first hunting rifle when I was 15 years old, and showed me how to use it in taking game like whitetail deer, rabbits, and squirrels. He also gave me my first hunting knife, and showed me how to sharpen it. I remember watching him sharpening knives for hours at the kitchen table. He didn’t consider his knives sharp until he could literally shave with them.
My experience in the outdoors has taught me a number of things, and one of those is the importance of a quality knife—especially when you’re hunting and fishing. It’s with this understanding that I craft the knives I make for my customers today. I’ve always lived by the philosophy that if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. I apply this philosophy to my knife manufacturing business, and that’s the main reason I handcraft my knives. The only way I can ensure the quality of my knives is by being personally involved in every aspect of the crafting process, from start to finish. For this reason any knife you purchase from my company will have been personally handcrafted.
I want to thank you again for your interest in Timothy Knives. I hope you enjoy your visit here!
Safe and happy hunting to you and your family!
God Bless,
Timothy Webb
