A truly quality knife cannot be mass-produced in an assembly line.Throughout history, the finest blades have been made by hand. That’s why Timothy Knives are hand-crafted.
Good steel makes good blades. For this reason only the highest quality Damascus Steel is used in the crafting of Timothy Knives. The same steel was used in the creation of some of most legendary blades of all time, like the Samurai sword. This steel possesses an unusual strength and ability to remain sharp. When ordinary knife steel dulls and needs to be re-sharpened, Damascus Steel holds its edge.
While our primary emphasis goes into the practical design of our knives, the artistic aspects are not neglected. We handcraft every knife to be a one-of-a-kind piece of art. No two Timothy knives are the same! Each has unique qualities that come as the result of individual attention and artistic vision.
Handles for our knives are made from more traditional materials, such as antler, domestic and imported woods, and mammoth tooth. This prevents your knife from having a generic, off-the-shelf look. It provides you with a knife that you can be proud to carry and use.
We understand that there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all knife. For this reason we provide you with the option of having your knife custom-designed, according to your specifications. Handle shape can be modified to perfectly match your grip. Blade shape can be modified to match the application you’ll be using the knife for.
